Reverse description A bow and quiver depicted vertically in the field, serving as the principal type of this small bronze denomination. The Greek legend ΠΑΝΤΙΚΑ to the left and ΠΑΙΤΩΝ to the right of the central device identifies the issuing city of Pantikapaion, rendered in incuse letters characteristic of hammered Bosporan coinage of the 3rd–2nd century BC.
