Obverse description Elaborately detailed armorial achievement in high relief, featuring a crowned shield with quartered arms, flanked by two rampant lion supporters on a scrolling cartouche base, and surmounted by a crowned helm with a rearing unicorn as crest and ornate mantling. The circular legend in Fraktur blackletter runs along the rim, with a small six-pointed star at the base of the field. The engraver's name OERTEL is visible below the shield.
