| Obverse description | Helmeted effigy of Roma facing right, wearing a distinctive winged helmet rendered in a Gallo-Roman style. The facial features are schematically rendered, characteristic of late Iron Age Celtic die-cutting traditions. The legend ROVV appears in the field, executed in Latin capitals. The flan is irregular, with the design partially off-center as typical of hand-struck Celtic coinage of this period. |
