Obverse description Central field depicts a seated or enthroned ruler facing forward, rendered in the Romanesque style typical of 12th-century Bohemian coinage. The figure appears crowned and holds regalia, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The legend VLADISLAVS DVX runs along the outer border, identifying the issuer as Duke Vladislaus II. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered medieval silver coinage. The design is executed in low relief with bold, stylized forms characteristic of Prague mint production of this period.
