Reverse description Frontal bust of a bishop or saint, likely Saint Wenceslas, the patron of Bohemia, depicted with nimbus and ecclesiastical vestments, holding an attribute in each hand, possibly a lance and a flag or crozier. The figure is set within a beaded inner circle against a flat, unadorned field. The design reflects the Romanesque iconographic tradition common to Bohemian deniers of the early 12th century. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, as expected for a hammered silver coin of this period.
