| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a frontal bust of a ruler depicted in Romanesque style, wearing a diadem or crown and draped robes. The figure holds a lance or staff in the right hand and a palm branch or sceptre in the left hand, evoking regal or ecclesiastical authority. A partial Latin legend is distributed around the inner circle in the field. The engraving is characteristic of early Bohemian hammered coinage, with bold if somewhat stylised facial features. |
