| Obverse description | Facing bust of Duke Vladislaus I, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner, wearing a diadem or crown and holding a sceptre or lance in his right hand. The effigy is rendered in low relief with visible drapery detail at the shoulders. The central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with fragmentary Latin legend characters visible in the outer field around the periphery of the irregular flan. |
