Reverse description As a uniface hammered pfennig of the 'Vierzipfeliger' type, the reverse shows only the incuse negative impression of the obverse design pressed into the plain silver flan, with no independent design or lettering. The surface is flat and unworked, typical of single-die bracteate-style pfennigs produced at the Lindau mint during the late 12th century.
