Obverse description A rectangular decorated reliquary altar depicted in relief at the centre of the flan, rendered in a Romanesque architectural style with arcaded compartments and ornamental detailing along the horizontal register. A cross surmounts the altar structure, rising prominently above the roofline. The design is enclosed within a beaded or toothed inner border, characteristic of the Vierzipfeliger Pfennig format. The flan is struck in the four-cornered irregular square form typical of Swabian ecclesiastical issues of this period.
