Obverse description Facing bust of the prince within a beaded inner circle, the effigy rendered in a flat, stylized medieval manner characteristic of 13th-century Carinthian bracteate-influenced coinage. The ruler holds a scepter topped with a fleur-de-lis finial raised to the right side of the figure. The face is depicted frontally with schematic features, surmounted by a crownlike headband. The field is plain, with no legend.
