Reverse description The reverse depicts a frontal standing figure of a ruler or bishop, rendered in a flat, stylized Romanesque manner, holding what appear to be a sceptre or cross in one hand and an orb or cross-tipped staff in the other. Flanking symbols or letters appear to either side of the figure. The design is contained within a beaded circle with a peripheral Latin legend, partially legible. The hammered technique results in uneven striking with areas of weakness typical of Moravian deniers of this period.
