Obverse description Central field features a cross pattée with a small annulet at its centre, flanked by groups of pellets in each quarter, creating a symmetrical cruciform arrangement. The cross divides the coin into four quadrants, each containing three pellets in a triangular grouping. A circular beaded inner border separates the central design from the outer legend. The peripheral legend reads UDALRICVS DUX in Latin capitals, identifying the issuer as Duke Ulrich of Bohemia. The overall design is characteristic of early medieval Bohemian hammered silver coinage, with somewhat irregular striking typical of the period.
