Obverse description Draped bust of Frédéric-Maurice de la Tour d'Auvergne, Prince of Orange, facing right, wearing a large flowing wig characteristic of the late 17th-century baroque style. The effigy is set within an inner circle, with the circumferential legend arranged around the periphery of the coin. The portrait is rendered in low relief, consistent with the modest artistic standards of feudal copper coinage of the period.
