| Reverse description | A plain Latin cross occupies the center of the reverse field, with a small crosslet (cross of Lorraine type) placed in one of the four quarters, a motif characteristic of Arles archiepiscopal coinage of this period. The cross extends to the beaded inner circle, dividing the field into four quadrants. The circular Latin legend encircles the design, and the overall style is consistent with hammered feudal billon deniers of 14th-century Provence. |
