Reverse description Two confronted animal figures, likely lions or mythical beasts, facing one another on either side of a central Hebrew letter, all set within a plain field on an irregular flan. The animals are depicted in a schematic, stylized manner consistent with the artistic conventions of medieval Hungarian coinage. The Hebrew letter in the center is associated with the Jewish mint master or moneyer responsible for production, a practice documented in medieval Hungary during the Árpád dynasty. The overall composition is bold and symmetrical despite the rough execution of the hammered technique.
