Obverse description A horizontal pearl line bisects the field; above it, a central cross flanks by lines terminating in dots below and crescents above, with short diagonal lines extending further to each side. Below the pearl line, a central dot is accompanied by short lines with dots, surmounted by wedge-shaped elements to the sides, and small crosses placed near the edge of the flan. The design is characteristic of the crude, abstract style typical of 12th-century Hungarian hammered coinage.
