Reverse description Reverse features a plain Greek cross with equal arms as the central device, dividing the field into four quarters, a motif common to Catalan ecclesiastical coinage of the era. The legend CŒLSONA, the Latin toponym for the city of Solsona, is distributed around the cross in the surrounding field. The strike is characteristic of hammered technique, with irregular flan shape and moderate die wear, consistent with low-denomination copper issues of the Catalan Principality during the Reapers' War period.
