Obverse description Bust of a bishop or saint facing right, depicted within a crescent-shaped frame composed of beaded borders, holding a patriarchal cross in the right hand. The figure is shown in a stylized Romanesque manner with schematic drapery folds. The field around the central motif is plain, and the coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan of hammered medieval bracteate-style deniers. No legend is visible on this side.
