Obverse description Central shield bearing the composite Hungarian royal arms, quartered with the Árpád dynastic stripes, the apostolic double cross on a mount, the Dalmatian leopard heads, and the Bohemian lion; an inescutcheon on the chest of the shield displays the Austrian fess. The shield is pointed and curved in the late Renaissance heraldic style. A circular Latin legend surrounds the outer field, identifying the ruler.

Reverse description The crowned Madonna seated or standing, holding the Christ Child on her right arm, with the mintmaster's marks flanking the central device. The date appears within the circular legend outside the inner circle, with the mint initials K-B (Kremnica) integrated into the reverse field. The composition reflects the widespread Marian patronage iconography common to Hungarian coinage of the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries.
