| Obverse description | Central cross pattée with a pellet in each of the four quarters, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The peripheral legend runs along the outer rim of the flan in Latin characters. The striking is typical of early medieval hammered coinage, with an irregular flan and somewhat uneven relief throughout the field. |
