Obverse description A bold Latin cross occupies the central field, its arms extending to a beaded inner circle. The four cantons formed by the cross arms are each filled with letters from the joint legend referencing Emperor Conrad and Archbishop Pilgrim. A circular outer legend in Roman capitals runs between the beaded border and the coin's irregular hammered rim.
