Reverse description The crowned Madonna (Virgin Mary) seated or standing, holding the Christ Child on her right arm, serving as the Patrona Hungariae, the heavenly patroness of Hungary. The mintmaster's mark (K-B, for Körmöcbánya/Kremnica) flanks the central figure on either side, and the date 1607 is incorporated within the circular Latin legend. The design is contained within an inner circle, with the legend placed in the exergual band outside it.
