| Obverse description | A cross pattée occupies the central field, with pellets positioned in the second and third quarters. The arms of the cross extend toward the coin's edge, dividing the field into four quadrants. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, reading outward from the cross. The strike is typical of hammered medieval billon coinage, with some weakness and irregular flan shaping evident. |
