Reverse description	Saint John the Baptist, nimbate and standing in full figure, is depicted holding the banner of the Order of St. John in his left hand and a cross-tipped staff in his right. The figure is rendered in the simplified Gothic style characteristic of Hospitaller hammered coinage of the late fifteenth century. A beaded inner circle frames the central design, with the circular uncial Latin legend running along the outer border of the flan.
