Reverse description A cross pattée centered in the field, its arms extending to a beaded inner circle. The quadrants are decorated alternately: the first and fourth quarters each contain a pellet, while the second and third quarters each bear a lily motif, lending a distinctive heraldic character to the reverse design. The surrounding legend is separated from the central device by a beaded border, and the entire composition is typical of Capetian-era episcopal deniers from the diocese of Meaux.
