Reverse description A plain cross with a large pellet at the centre of each quarter, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The cross divides the field into four equal cantons, each occupied by a single prominent pellet. A circular Latin legend reading the mint name runs around the periphery, outside the beaded circle. The composition is typical of Ottonian coinage from the Deventer mint.
