Obverse description Central cross pattée dividing the field into four quarters, each containing a pellet or small ornament, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding annular legend reads OTTO +DI GRA + REX AMEN in Latin characters, invoking Otto as king by divine grace. The die-struck design is characteristically rough and irregular, consistent with late tenth-century Ottonian hammered coinage from Regensburg. The flan is pierced at the top, suggesting later use as a pendant or decorative mount. The overall fabric is typical of Bavarian workshop production of the period.
