| Reverse description | Central cross with arms terminating in triple crescents, with a square and trefoil motif in the angles, all executed in the characteristic hammered style of Scandinavian imitative coinage. The design is a deliberate copy of the reverse type found on Æthelred II long cross pennies, adapted by Swedish Viking-age moneyers. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, containing the moneyer's name and mint reference in a garbled or adapted form. |
