Obverse description	A rampant lion facing left occupies the central field, rendered in the bold, somewhat stylized manner typical of 13th-century Alpine coinage. The beast is depicted with a crown above its head and a raised forepaw, conveying heraldic authority. A beaded inner circle frames the device, with the partial legend MEINHARDUS COMES distributed around the periphery. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hammered production of the period. The overall style reflects the feudal heraldic tradition of the County of Görz.
