| Obverse description | Uncrowned, bipartite Hungarian shield in curved form, divided vertically to display the Árpád dynastic stripes on the left and the apostolic double cross on the right. The mintmark appears in the field flanking the shield. The heraldic design is rendered in the compact, abbreviated style typical of early seventeenth-century Hungarian hammered billon coinage. The encircling legend runs along the outer rim. |

| Reverse description | The Virgin Mary, Patroness of Hungary (Patrona Hungariae), depicted seated, crowned but without halo or rays of glory, holding the Christ Child in her left arm and an upright cross in her right hand. A crescent moon appears beneath or before the figure, a traditional Marian iconographic element. The date appears within the surrounding legend along the rim. The design follows the established devotional type used on Hungarian deniers throughout the Habsburg period. |
