Obverse description Draped bust of Louis XIII facing left, rendered in low relief in the hammered style typical of provincial Catalan coinage. The effigy is set within a beaded inner circle, with the mint name TARREGE and the date 1641 forming the surrounding legend. The portrait displays curled hair and a truncated shoulder, consistent with the crude but characteristic workmanship of the Tárrega mint. The legend is disposed around the upper and lower periphery of the beaded circle.

Reverse description A long plain cross extends to the beaded inner circle, dividing the field into four quarters. An annulet is placed in the first and fourth angles, while three bezants (pellets arranged in triangular formation) occupy the second and third angles. The word VILLA is disposed around the cross within the beaded circle, referencing the town status of Tárrega. The design follows the standard typology of Catalan municipal deniers of the period.
