Obverse description Full-length frontal effigy of the margrave standing, attired in regal garments, holding a crested helmet in one hand and an eagle in the other; a small four-leaf rosette is placed beneath each of the two emblems. The figure is rendered in the bold, simplified relief characteristic of early fourteenth-century German bracteate-influenced coinage.
