Obverse description Facing bust of King Ladislaus I within an inner pearl circle, flanked on either side by a cross. The royal effigy is rendered in the flat, stylized manner characteristic of early medieval Hungarian hammered coinage. The legend encircles the design in Latin along the outer border. A letter S appears on the reverse side of this die.
