Reverse description A stylised Gothic castle with three towers, each crowned with battlements, occupying the central field in the manner of the Castilian arms. The castle is depicted in low relief with architectural detail including a central gate, rendered in the characteristic hammered style of medieval Castilian mints. The surrounding partial legend CASTELLE E LEGIONIS S references Castile and León, with the mint mark S for Seville visible. The flan is notably chipped and irregular, with portions of the legend lost at the edge.
