Reverse description A cross pattée is centrally placed within a raised inner circle, with the four arms extending nearly to the beaded border of the annulus. A Latin legend encircles the inner circle, reading DVX IAROMIR, identifying the issuer as Duke Jaromír of Bohemia. Notably, the letter 'D' in DVX performs double duty as the second 'R' in IAROMIR, a deliberate monogrammatic device employed by the die-cutter. The lettering is bold but uneven in spacing and depth, reflecting the hand-engraved dies of the period. The field between the cross and the legend border is flat and unadorned.
