Reverse description Central device features the András patriarchal double cross rising from a base, dividing the field into quadrants, with a mintmark letter or symbol placed in opposing quadrants on either side of the cross shaft. The legend commences with a rosette stop and runs around the beaded inner circle. The flan is irregular and clipped at the margins, characteristic of the Interregnum period hammered coinage, with varying die alignment and partial legend visibility.
