Obverse description Latin legend ✠ ENRICVS IMP arranged around the inner field, referencing Henry V as Holy Roman Emperor. The design is executed in crude hammered style typical of early medieval Venetian coinage, with a roughly circular inner beaded border separating the legend from the central motif. The flat, irregular flan displays the characteristic irregularities of hand-struck silver deniers of this period. Surface patination includes areas of light green oxidation consistent with long burial or age.
