Obverse description Facing bearded bust of Emperor Henry V, depicted frontally with a crown adorned with pendilia, flanked on either side by a cross-headed scepter. The imperial effigy is rendered in the Romanesque style typical of Salian-era bracteate coinage, with pellet detailing on the face and schematic facial features. The bust fills the coin's field, with the flanking scepters extending nearly to the coin's irregular flan edge. No legend is present.
