Obverse description Central field displays the heraldic shield of Görz-Gorizia, rendered in a Gothic style characteristic of mid-14th century hammered coinage. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle. A circumferential legend in uncial Latin characters reads +HAINR` COMES GORICIE, identifying the issuer as Count Henry of Gorizia. The overall design reflects the feudal heraldic tradition of the Austrian territorial coinages of the period.

Reverse description A long cross extends to the beaded inner circle, dividing the reverse field into four quadrants, each adorned with a rosette ornament. The cross and rosette arrangement is typical of contemporary Tirolean and Alpine denier coinage. A circumferential legend in uncial Latin characters surrounds the design, reading GO R ICIA DE L VON. The coin displays the characteristic irregular flan and flat strike of hand-hammered medieval silver currency.
