| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, the crowned shield of Görz-Gorizia bearing a diagonal band (bend) charged with a device, surrounded by a dotted border. A partial circular legend in Gothic uncial characters runs along the outer field, reading ...COM GORI, identifying the Count of Gorizia. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval Central European hammered coinage. |

| Reverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a large stylized six-petalled flower or rosette occupies the central field, its petals rendered in a bold, angular Gothic style. A circular legend in Gothic uncial characters surrounds the motif within the outer border, consistent with the naming of Count Henry III of Görz. The flan is irregular and slightly wavy, typical of hammered medieval deniers of the Tyrolian-Friulian region. |
