Obverse description Within a beaded inner circle, a stylized crowned bust facing, rendered in the primitive Romanesque manner characteristic of Austrian bracteate-influenced deniers. The crown is depicted with prominent points or fleurs, and the shoulders of the figure extend laterally into the field. Small cross-like ornaments are scattered in the field around the bust. A partially legible legend in debased Latin characters runs along the outer border of the coin.
