Obverse description A marten passant left occupies the central field, rendered in bold relief characteristic of medieval hammered coinage. Two six-pointed rosettes with central pellets are positioned above and below the marten respectively, serving as field ornaments. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded (pearl) inner circle. The peripheral legend reads MONETA DVCIS SCLAVONIE in Gothic letters, arranged around the circumference between the beaded circle and the outer rim. The overall composition reflects the established Slavonian banovac denarius tradition of the 13th century.

Reverse description The reverse features a prominent double cross with raised rims, centrally placed within the field. At the base of the cross, two confronted crowned heads face each other in profile, a characteristic motif of Slavonian banovac coinage symbolising dual authority. Mintmark letters appear in the fields to the left and right of the upper arms of the cross. In the upper field, a six-pointed star with a central dot occupies the left, and a crescent with an annulet (hoop) occupies the right. The design is contained within a plain outer border typical of hammered medieval silver issues.
