Obverse description Central cross pattée set within a beaded inner circle, the arms of the cross cantoned by two pellets (bezants) and an annulet in the quarters. The field is plain between the cross and the inner circle. A circular Latin legend runs between the inner beaded border and the outer rim of the flan: HEINRICVS DVX, identifying the issuing duke.
