Obverse description Central plain cross with a globule (bezant) placed in each of the four angles, dividing the field into quarters. The entire design is enclosed within a circular legend reading + HEINRICVS, rendered in angular Carolingian lettering characteristic of 11th-century French royal coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered silver production of the period.
