| Obverse description | Central field features a plain cross pattee with a small annulet at the intersection, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend reads HINRICVS REX, identifying the issuer as King Henri I of France, rendered in crude Romanesque capital letters characteristic of 11th-century hammered coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly broader than the die, with weakly struck areas toward the periphery. The overall style is archaic and schematic, consistent with early Capetian royal deniers. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays a stylized monogram or Christogram composed of interlaced letters, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend reads CVTAS SINLECTIS, a corrupted form of CIVITAS SILVANECTIS (City of Senlis), identifying the mint. The lettering is irregular and partly Lombardic in character, typical of provincial Capetian workshop output. The flan shows a prominent crack and significant die wear, with the legend partially illegible at the periphery. The reverse reflects the rudimentary engraving standards of the Senlis mint during the reign of Henri I. |
