Obverse description Stylized eagle displayed above a schematic temple or gate motif, rendered in the crude hammered style characteristic of medieval ecclesiastical deniers. Two pellets flank the base of the design below the temple arcade, serving as decorative field elements. The surrounding legend runs along the coin's periphery within a beaded inner border. The overall design is executed in low relief with irregular flan shaping typical of 14th-century episcopal coinage from the Vaud region.
