Obverse description Central field dominated by a double-barred cross with beaded horizontal bar, set within a beaded border. Four decorative foliate or crescent-shaped ornaments occupy the four quadrants flanking the cross arms. Four small lozenges or cross-pattée motifs are placed at the cardinal points of the design. Four pellets are distributed symmetrically around the central cross. The overall composition is characteristic of the anonymous hammered deniers of the Árpád dynasty, with no legend.
