Reverse description Central device features a large cross pattee dividing the field into four quarters, a standard heraldic motif on Aragonese medieval coinage. The quadrants of the cross are flanked by beaded inner circle borders. The peripheral Latin legend ARAGONVM VALEN encircles the design, abbreviated from the full territorial titles of Aragon and Valencia. The hammered flan exhibits characteristic irregular shape and slight surface porosity. Green patination is visible throughout the fields, consistent with the billon alloy composition.
