| Obverse description | Diademed royal bust facing right, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner with striated hair rendered beneath a beaded diadem; the facial features are boldly rendered with a prominent eye and strong jaw. The effigy is set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by an irregular beaded or pellet border. Small six-pointed stars are distributed in the outer field between the border and the coin's irregular scalloped edge, serving as decorative fillers characteristic of Nuremberg bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage of the mid-thirteenth century. |

| Reverse description | The enthroned king is depicted slightly turned to the left, his body shown frontally in a formal hieratic pose; he extends his right hand in a gesture of authority while holding a scepter in his left. The royal figure is rendered in the flat, linear Romanesque style typical of Hohenstaufen-era German pfennige. Multiple small stars are scattered throughout the field surrounding the enthroned figure, functioning both as decorative elements and as symbols of imperial dignity. The design is contained within a border consistent with the obverse treatment. |
