Reverse description Central motif consisting of a stylized architectural or cross-based design within a beaded inner circle, rendered in the schematic Romanesque style common to Moravian deniers of the 11th century. The design shows a facing bust or architectural element with angular linear decoration surrounding it. Fragmentary and degenerate Latin letterforms are distributed around the periphery outside the inner circle, largely illegible due to the crude die engraving and worn strike. The overall fabric is characteristic of hammered silver coinage produced in the appanage principality of Brno during the reign of Conrad I.
